Two new projects reaffirm SICE’s ability to offer quality solutions in creating robotic assembly lines for the automotive sector

SICE is committed to two new projects related to the automotive sector. Together with SAS Automotive, the Spanish company will be in charge of designing and installing several assembly lines for the production of new dashboards, as well as evacuation and feeding through robotic systems. The whole installation will be entirely manufactured in Spain, and will be disassembled shipped by sea.

The installation consists of two symmetrical production lines for the dashboards of the new model launched by the company created by Elon Musk, TESLA MOTOR. Every line is designed to provide 20 jobs. Once the process is finished, the carriage is removed by means of an automatic system, which paralyzes the carriage until the extraction of the finished dashboard and the feeding of the frame to be worked on. The extraction and feeding are done with a robot.

Once the dashboard is placed, an automatic system moves it until the end point, there, a robot a robot places it on the vehicle transporting it to the assembly car line.

This is not the first project with these characteristics carried out by SICE together with SAS Automotive: the company has already executed and successfully delivered several projects worldwide for well-known brands such as Jeep or FIAT.
