Modernization, refurbishment and adaptation of flow measurement and supervisory control systems at the Nuevo Teapa measurement, pumping and distribution centre
Crude oil extracted from deposits located in the states of Tabasco, Chipas and Campeche Sound is sent to the Nuevo Teapa measurement, pumping and distribution station. This crude oil is then sent to the country's six refineries along different oil pipelines.
The Nuevo Teapa station measures the crude transferred to it by PEMEX Exploración y Producción, as well as the crude delivered to the custody of the different PEMEX-Refinación refineries.
The main purpose of this project is the replacement of the turbine type meters from one assembly on each of the assigned skids, with an ultrasonic flow meter, as well as any mechanical works necessary for its adaptation to standards and the measurement certification for custody transfer. Within the scope of this project is the supply of a new SCADA system to integrate signals from the new skids with those existing in the plant and its interfaces with other PEMEX-Refinación and PEMEX-Exploración y Producción centres.
The contract covers the following activities:
- Supply of certified ultrasonic meters for custody transfer from 8" to 14" ANSI 300 and flows from 8,150 BPH to 23,600 BPH.
- Pressure and temperature instrumentation.
- Mechanical work for adapting the measurement skids.
- Electrical work for laying signal and power cables.
