Supply, installation, refurbishment and expansion of WWTP control and automation. ARTEMISA project phase II

Second phase of the ARTEMISA project, the main objectives of which are to update and standardise both the low voltage electrical equipment and the instrumentation and control equipment; roll out an internal communications network at the plant to connect automatic control elements together, and integrate the treatment process's measurement and operation elements to improve the efficiency of processes and facilitate supervision and remote control from the basin process centre 

The work was done at the following WWTPs:

• WWTP Guadalix de la Sierra 
• WTP Riosequillo 
• WWTP Hoyo de Manzanares 
• WWTP Casaquemada 
• WWTP Navalafuente 

The following equipment has been installed:

1. 9 PLCs (Allen Bradley, CompactLogix range) along with 9 SCADA licences (FactoryTalk View Site Edition by Allen Bradley)
2. Instrumentation:
   • 1 pH sensor
   • 1 flow meter
   • 1 Redox sensor
3. 10 control panels
4. 4 electrical cabinets and 3 command and control centres
5. 7 cabinets for command and control centre electronic power equipment
6. 120 new cubicles and 101 refurbished cubicles
