Shadow toll system and traffic control (ITS) for the A-21 motorway (sections 4 and 5) and tunnel safety and control installations
Implementation of a shadow toll system, equipment and traffic control systems (ITS) for sections 4 and 5 of the A-21 motorway and safety and control installations for the Yesa (1,632 m) and Liédena (945 m) inter-urban tunnels. These three systems are operated from two control centres.
The shadow toll system includes roadside counting and verification equipment to allow traffic to be controlled and monitored in real time; video surveillance cameras, variable message panels and weather stations have been installed, which, among other components, make up the open-air equipment installed for the ITS system.
The contract covers tunnel safety and control installations, including but not limited to:
